Monica Lynn "Lisa" Harris-Sink, 46, of Evansville went home to rest in the arms of the Lord, on Wednesday January 12, 2011, at St Mary's Medical Center, surrounded in love by her family.
Lisa was a member of Mt. Sinai M.B. Church and she had attended Bosse High School. Monica was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, homemaker and especially gifted crafter. Lisa was a spirited, joyful person who loved life and just enjoyed the company of family, friends, her spoiled dog Jazzmine and, of course, the light of her life, her granddaughter Arryanna, who lovingly called her grandma "MY LISA". Monica was preceded in death by her brothers Eric and Douglas Harris. Lisa leaves to cherish many fond and happy memories, her parents, mother, Shirley Moore (Alonzo) and father, Douglas Harris Jr (Verna); sons, Eric Barnes and Christopher Barnes; sister, Vickie Harris-Ladd (Steven) and Brother Chris Harris (Bridgette); granddaughter Arryanna Barnes; and a host of nieces and nephews.
To Celebrete Monica's life, visitation will be Saturday from 10 until noon at service time, at Osborne Funeral Home, 702 Gum St., Evansville, Ind., per Lisa's request her ashes will be lovingly released by her brother from the Oceanside.
