Laura Marie Williams-Cartwright, the daughter of the late Charles E. Williams and Laura (Beat) Yancy passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007, at her home after a long, lengthy illness. Laura was born Dec. 16, 1967, in Evansville. She was 40 years old.

Laura graduated from Bosse High School in 1985. She met no strangers.

She leaves to mourn her a loving, faithful husband, Harold Cartwright; her mother, Laura Beatrice Yancy and stepfather, Marlon Yancy; stepson, Calia; three brothers, Charles Jr., Lawrence Clifford (Deanna) and Jamie Eugene; aunt, Doris Brocdus; four nephews, Lawrence, Sydney, Brandon and Bradley; one niece, Jamia; several cousins; stepsisters-in-law, Charel and Ceola; and a host of close friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Osborne Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.

The family thanks each and every one for all kindness rendered.
