Vincent K. Garst, 38, of Evansville , died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at his residence.

Vincent graduated from Bosse High School [1986] and the University of Southern Indiana.

He served in the U.S. Army in Germany .

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lou Garst, in 2005.

Vincent is survived by his wife, Stacie (Smith) Garst of Evansville; father, George Garst of Evansville; brother, Matthew Garst and wife, Sunita, of Washington, D.C.; grandmother, Irene Garst of Bremen, Ky.; mother-in-law, Evelyn Smith; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gary Smith, Karen Lant, Dale Smith, Keith Smith, Julie Stephan and Ron Smith, all of Evansville.

Services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 11, 2006, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Father Claude Burns and Pastor Jeff Long, with entombment at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery . Friends may visit Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until service time at Alexander East Chapel.Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 Lodge Avenue, Evansville , IN 47714
