Ontario Dejuan Jackson, 34, of Evansville, passed away Friday, June 10, 2011. He was born December 27, 1976, in Evansville.

He played high school sports at Bosse High School [1995?] and semi-pro football for the Evansville Vipers.

Ontario was preceded in death by his mother, Sheila Jackson.

He is survived by his father, Gary Williams; daughter, Makayla Jackson; son, Ontario Jackson, Jr.; grandmother, Millie Jackson; sisters, Amber and Armana Cottrell; aunts, Kathy Jackson, JoAnn Williams, Vickie Murphy, Kathy Williams and Joyce Darrett; uncles, Tim Williams and Theodore Jackson (Vickie); cousins, Antwan and Mahogany Jackson, Kayla, Kira, Korie and Theodore Jackson III; nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3700 Bellemeade Avenue, Suite 107B, Evansville, IN 47711.

So sorry to hear about the loss of Ontario. I worked with him a few years back and he always made the work days fun. His entire family will be in my thoughts...

I went to high school with OJ. He was a very nice person with a big heart and beautiful smile. I will keep dear memories of him as he moves on to be with the heavenly father. May the family find comfort in knowing that he is among the angels now!

I used to always joke with O. J. at school. He would always smile and laugh softly. He would always smile. I didn't talk to him that much outside of school but every time I seen him we still spoke and I know him enough to miss him. Prayers to his family and friends. He is resting.

We didn't talk after school as much as we did during school, but when we did it was like we never missed a day. No one knew what you were going thru, because you were always smiling. That's the OJ I'm gonna miss.

Since the first day I met you in the wonderful halls of the lovely BHS you was always a kind person with a great personality. Even writing this it still seems like it is not real.
