Rauntorrez Waddell, 23, went home to his Heavenly Father on May 1, 2007, at St. Mary's
Torrez, as he was fondly called, was educated in the
Torrez was a loving and a kind person, always with a smile on his face. He had lots of friends. He was fond of music and was a great recorder. His music was a great part of his life. Torrez will be sadly missed by his family and many friends and this community. He leaves to cherish fond memories his three daughters, Javeah, Kamil and La`Nyjah Waddell; his devoted parents, Amelia and Eddie Holmes, and father, Nathaniel and Angela Waddell; a sister, Shantrece Waddell; two brothers, Lawrence and Devon Waddell; grandparents, Georgia and Harold Fellows, Nathaniel Waddell Sr. and Katherine Dixon; his very best friend and the mother of his children, Tamasha Shane; nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives. Funeral services 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2007, at Nazarene Baptist Church, 867 E. Walnut St., burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 6, at Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel. Pastor Larry Rascoe Sr. will officiate. Final arrangements entrusted to Mason Brothers Memorial Chapel,
