I only get the Snday paper and occasionally read the obits. Today something abot the name set off a bell and I read it. Mrs. Byers was my 7th and 8th grade social stdies teacher at Oak Hill in 1974 - 1976. I remember I didn't like her mch, she was too hard even thogh I got all A's. Isn't it fnny how those are the ones who have the most inflance and teach their stdents to be better. Now I fondly remember her and the first research paper I ever wrote on the Sarah Desert. She was an excellent teacher and I will never forget her.
