Joshua A. Bickel, 30, of Newburgh, passed away on Friday, Dec. 1, 2006, at his home. Joshua was formerly employed with Three I Engineering Incorporated in Evansville, and later with Audio Analysts in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He attended St. Benedict Grade School, was a graduate [1994?] of Bosse High School and received his degree from Ivy Tech College.
Joshua was an accomplished Blues guitarist and enjoyed fishing, riding all terrain vehicles, and he loved his dogs.
Joshua is survived by his parents, James and Cyndi Bickel, of Newburgh; his brother, Jason Bickel and his wife, Stacee, of Greenville, Tenn.; nephews, Jeremiah and Lucas Bickel; a niece, Alycia Bickel; his grandmother, Mary A. Bickel, of Evansville; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 4, at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Ave., with Father Jeremy King, O.S.B., officiating. Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
