MOUNT VERNON - Martha (Creamer) Hubbard, age 77, of Mount Vernon, Ind., died at 3:25 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006, at New Harmonie Health Care in New Harmony, Ind.
Martha was born in White County, Ill., on April 14, 1929, the daughter of Milfred and Delia Creamer. She graduated from Bosse High School [1947?] and was employed in Evansville area nursing homes as a certified nurse’s assistant. She later moved to San Diego, Calif., where she was self-employed as a private sitter for the elderly.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Baugh and her husband, Robert Canada of Newburgh, and Tracy Niemeier and her husband, Stan of Mount Vernon; a son, Randy Baugh of Evansville; one sister, Helen Bruce and her husband, John, of Paris, Ill.; two brothers, Charles Creamer and his wife, Ruth Ann of Eldorado, Ill., and John Creamer of Taipei, Taiwan; and four grandchildren, Matt Fisher, Megan Canada, Carrie Baugh and Christian Baugh.
Services and burial will be private. Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel, 5330 Washington Ave., Evansville, Ind., is in charge of arrangements
