Mary D. (Fitzsimmons) Keneipp

OWENSVILLE — Mary D. (Fitzsimmons) Keneipp, 96, died Sunday, February 20, 2005 , at Gibson General Hospital .

She was born on November 20, 1908, in Evansville to the late, John V. and Irene (Duncan) Fitzsimmons, she also was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, 2 grandsons, David and Byron Furr, a son, Bill Keneipp; and two brothers, Allen and Donald Fitzsimmons.

She had worked at Cartwright Insurance as an office clerk and was a member of the Owensville United Methodist Church and the Indiana Club. She graduated from Bosse High School and attended Evansville College .

Survivors include a son, Richard (Mary) Keneipp of Rantoul, Ill.; daughters, Elisabeth Ann Knox of Olney, Ill., and Peggy (Darwin) Callis of Owensville; daughter-in-law, Kerry Keneipp of Scottsdale, Ariz.; grandchildren, Eric Callis, Jean Ann (Alan) Pfisterer and Katie (Aaron) Church; great-grandchildren, Nathan and Kelsy Edwards; stepgrandchildren, Robert, Steve, Tim and Alex Knox, Mary Ann Mays, Joey Hruby, Jimmy Lovett and Travis Cheek.

Graveside services 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2005 , at Bethel Cemetery , followed by an 11 a.m. memorial service at Owensville United Methodist Church . There will be no visitation at Holders Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the church.
