Patricia Ann (Hoople) Kanipe, age 71, of Indianapolis , passed away April 2, 2005 . She was born April 5, 1933 , in Milwaukee , Wisconsin , to Louis N. and Fostina Hoople. She moved to Evansville , Ind. , graduated from Bosse High School , and was a 1955 graduate of Indiana University .
Patty and Bill owned Hoople Sausage Company, based in Indianapolis . Since 1985, she and Bill sold real estate in the Indianapolis market.
Patty is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bill Kanipe; sister, Betty (Frank) Caskey; daughters, Colleen Kanipe, Kathy ( Gary ) Schuller, Karen Kanipe; son, Keith (Susan) Kanipe; and three grandchildren.
Patty touched so many people throughout her life. She will be greatly missed by all.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, April 6, 2005 , at Flanner & Buchanan Funeral Center-Broad Ripple from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be Thursday, April 7, 2005 , at 11 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis .
