Anna K. (Koontz) Chamberlain

Anna K. (Koontz) Chamberlain, age 74, of Evansville , Ind. , died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2004 , at Holiday Health Care.

Anna attended Bosse High School (’47-’48?).  She was employed at L. S. Ayres Department Store.  Anna was a member of Christ Church United Church of Christ.  She loved reading, crocheting, cross-stitching, flower gardening and dancing.  She also loved attending all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's sporting events.

She is survived by daughters, Deborah Van Bibber and her husband, Terry, of Greenwood, Ind., and Paula Flittner and her husband, Randy, of Evansville; son, Dale Moore and his wife, Sheryl, of Evansville; sister, Norma Berning and her husband, Francis, of Clearwater, Fla.; 7 grandchildren, Heath Van Bibber, Bryan Speer, Bobbie Van Bibber, Nichole Speer, Lee Ann Heiman, Lindsay Moore and Joshua Moore; and 5 great-grandchildren, Kindrea Speer, Kimberly Van Bibber, Shelby Van Bibber, Kamron Speer, A.J. Van Bibber, and great-grandchild due in August.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert D. Moore, in 1976; and her second husband, Jack Chamberlain, in 1993.

Funeral services were 10 a.m. Friday, June 11, 2004, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue , with Dr. Linda Parker officiating.  Burial was in Park Lawn Cemetery .

Friends called from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2004, at Boone Funeral Home East Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
