Susanna (Kreyling) Cotton

Susanna (Kreyling) Cotton, 87, of Evansville, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at St. Mary's Medical Center.

Susanna was born February 9, 1920, in Evansville to the late Marie Euler and Wilhelm Kreyling. She was a graduate of Stanley Hall Elementary, Bosse High School [1937?], and the University of Wisconsin. Susanna volunteered with the Red Cross during World War II. In 1950, she married Allen Cotton. She worked as the manager of Apartment Management Company of Evansville.

She was a member of St. John's Eastside United Church of Christ.

Susanna is survived by one son, Stanley Cotton and wife, Kimberley of Henderson, Ky.; three grandchildren, Eston Cotton, Ian Cotton, and Olivia Cotton; sister, Karolyn Folz; nieces and nephews, Frank Folz, Fred Folz, Chris Folz, Mary Folz, Margaret Keating, Kathy Kreyling, Elizabeth Kreyling, and Matthew Kreyling.

Friends may visit Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Alexander East Chapel, with private burial at Oak Hill Cemetery.
