Harold Lloyd Myers passed away at age 76 in Glendale, Calif., on Friday, June 15, 2007. Harold was raised in Evansville and graduated from Bosse High School [1948-1949?]. In the 1950s he moved to Glendale, and graduated from Pomona University with his Bachelor's degree and then graduated from Southwestern University with his Juris Doctorate degree. He was admitted into law practice in 1959 and was an active member of the California Bar until his retirement in 2006. He was most known for his contribution to family law and specialized in adoption matters in Los Angeles County, most particularly.
Harold was born in 1931 to Daniel A. Myers and Ethyl Myers. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Edward Eugene Myers and Kenneth Wayne Myers. He is survived by his daughter, Marilyn Myers Kitt and her two children, Sidney and Andrea, from Garden Valley, Calif. He is also survived by three of his brothers, Daniel Myers Jr., Donald Edwin Myers and Richard Keith Myers, and all six of his sisters, Dorothy M. Farny, Margie Jean Myers, Betty Kay Richardson, Shirley LaVonne Scefer, Carolyn June Bates and JoAnna Fay Kitch. Many other people have known and loved him and will miss his passing. Services will be held at his burial place in Millville Cemetery, Millville, Calif., on July 16, at 4 p.m.
Harold was a brillant philosopher, entertaining conversationalist and delightful person who is much loved and will be missed. All who have met him will not forget him because we can all admit that there has never been and never will be any other man that can compare to him or his unending intelligence and wit.
