Minnie L. (Orr) Weigel

Minnie L. (Orr) Weigel, 70, of Evansville passed away December 7, 2005 at the VNA Charlier Hospice Center. She was born March 17, 1935 to the late George M. Orr and Violet (Iglehart) Orr in Murray, Ky.

Minnie attended Bosse High School, had a membership in T.O.P.S. Evansville #705 and was an active member of Vann Avenue Baptist Church and its Ladies Fellowship. Her hobbies were crocheting and crossword puzzles.

Besides parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Weigel; son, Charles Douglas Weigel; and brother, Robert G. Orr.

She is survived by her daughter, Deltina L. Crews; son, Timmie L. Weigel; sister, Anna Sue Allen; brothers, Jimmie L. Orr and John L. Orr all of Evansville; and George E. Orr of Oakland City; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2005 at Alexander East Chapel with burial in Martin Brothers Cemetery in Oatsville, Ind. Friends may call Friday, December 9, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Alexander East Chapel.
