Shannon Rena (Renshaw) Brown

Shannon Rena (Renshaw) Brown, 28, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at Deaconess Hospital. Shannon worked as a CNA at North Park Nursing Home. She had attended Bosse and North High School. Shannon enjoyed volleyball, dancing and spending time with her family especially being the "Big Sister."

She is survived by daughters, Ashley Nicole Brown, of Evansville, and Madison Lynn Brown, of Evansville; son, Cory David Brown, of Evansville; mother and stepfather, Terry Marley and her husband, Chris, of Evansville; father and stepmother, Bruce Renshaw and his wife, Lois, of Evansville; sister, Whitney Marley, of Evansville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce Renshaw and his wife, Nicole, of Evansville, and Chris Renshaw and his wife, April, of Evansville; aunt and uncle/mom and dad, Jeannette and Larry Knowles; grandfathers, Glen Renshaw, of Carmi, Ill., and Wayne Sanders, of Evansville; grandmother, Joann Hatfield, of Evansville; step-grandfather, Mike Marley, of Evansville; step-grandmother, Sondra Marley, of Evansville; great-grandfather, Po Brown, of Evansville; mother-in-Law, Bonnie Melton, of Evansville; brother-in-law, James Brown, of Evansville; and other aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 12 years, David Brown, in 2006, a sister, Billi Renee Vincent, in 2003 and a grandmother, Eloise Rickard.

Funeral services are planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, Ind., with Pastor Dale Culbertson officiating. Burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, Evansville.

Friends may visit from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 8, 2007, at Browning Funeral Home.
