Edward Roth Jr

Edward Roth Jr., age 70, of Evansville , Ind. , died at 1:05 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2005 , at Deaconess Hospital .

Edward Roth Jr., a graduate of Bosse High School , was a 40-year member of Central United Methodist Church . Ed retired from Koch Label, as an engraver, after 30-plus years of service.

Mr. Roth was a past member of West Side Civitan and was instrumental in the organization of Evansville Junior League Football. Edward took great pride in his yard and befriended everyone he met. He loved animals, especially his cat, Oliver.

He is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Betty Sue Roth; dauthers, Lisa Boberg and husband, Charlie, of Evansville and Tammy Woodburn and husband, David, of Evansville; sons, Kyle Roth of Denver, Colo., and Lawrence Roth and wife, Marilyn, of Evansville; and grandchildren, Jessica and Chase Edward Boberg, Colton and Auston Pugh and Lawson Edward, Clare, Andrew and Natalie Roth.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Joyce Woods and Evelyn Donohoo

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2005 , at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue , with Reverend Joe Easley officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today, June 3, 2005 , at Boone Funeral Home, East Chapel.
