William ‘Charlie’ Wade


William "Charlie" Wade, age 63, of Evansville, Indiana, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at his residence. Charlie was a graduate of Bosse High School. He worked for the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation as a supply clerk. He was also member of the Teamsters Local No. 215. Charlie's love for his family knew no boundaries. He loved being with family, his friends and his buddies from the warehouse.

During his leisure time he road Harley Davidson motorcycles and he enjoyed NASCAR. Charlie's family wanted to express a very special thanks to Dr. Houser and his nursing staff for their special care and concern.

Charlie is survived by wife of 44 years, Saundra Wade, Evansville, Ind.; daughters, Kim Reed and her husband, Jim, Plano, Texas, and Jessica Wade, Evansville, Ind.; grandchildren, Connor Reed and Jayda Watzlavik; brother, Bob Wade, and his wife, Mary, Newburgh, Ind.; sisters, Nancy Horstman and her husband, Tom, Evansville, Ind., and Kathy Monyhan and her husband, John, Evansville, Ind.; and nieces, nephews and many special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy (Savage) Wade and William Wade Sr.

Funeral services were held 5 p.m. Friday July 29, 2005, at Barker Avenue Primitive Baptist Church, 50 S. Barker Ave. 47712, with Rev. Spencer Downs officiating. A celebration of Charlie's life was held at the Wade home following the service. Friends could visit Friday July 29, 2005, from 4 p.m. until service time at the church.
